Tyler Rosebush, Austin in the Garden, 2024
The UNO St. Claude Gallery is pleased to announce A Love to See You Through, the MFA thesis exhibition of Tyler Rosebush. Featuring photographic prints, photo-based installations, and archival work, the show reflects on the visual vernacular of queer spaces in New Orleans, capturing the intimacy of sheltering gardens and the exuberance of dance floors. The formal and thematic thrust of the work emerge directly from the courtyards and gay bars shaped by generations of queer people in New Orleans.
An opening reception will take place June 13th from 6:30 – 10 p.m., featuring a musical collaboration with Chris Green (DJ Stroke Doc) beginning at 7:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served. The reception and exhibit are free and open to the public.
This exhibition will be on view June 13th through July 6th, 2025, and is open during gallery hours: Saturdays and Sundays, 12:00 – 5:00 p.m.
