The UNO St. Claude Gallery is excited to present True Blue, an exhibition and the first in a series of Printmaking portfolios that showcase

the UNO Alumni. Published and curated by Tony Campbell.

The University of New Orleans’ Fine Arts Department and the School of the Arts are excited to celebrate the rich talent of MFA Fine Arts alumni with True Blue, an exhibition and the first in a series of printmaking portfolios showcasing alumni’s work.


This portfolio is a fundraising initiative to create scholarships for UNO students to study abroad. It features 10 artists & 10 prints, all made in an edition of 10. The exhibition will include additional works by these artists, who are among the most prominent figures of the New Orleans art scene.


Assistant Professor Tony Campbell invited the 10 alumni into the UNO Fine Arts printshop to produce the prints alongside his printmaking students. Graduate Assistants Barbara Mileto ('21) & Claire Ragland ('21) have been invaluable in supporting this initiative.

The University of New Orleans, School of the Arts is hosting its 1st Annual Arts Festival “Force Artistique” April 22nd-26. Come celebrate Arts education with a full week of events showcasing SOTA’s five areas of study: Music, Fine Arts, Theatre, Film and Arts Administration. Highlights of the festival will include performances, film screenings, artist lectures and panel discussions form visiting national guest artists and notable members of the New Orleans Arts community in conjunction with showcase work by our student body. Visiting artist include New York City’s premiere virtuoso chamber ensemble Argento New Music Project, Jazz Organist Dr. Lonnie Smith and sculptor Hank Willis Thomas.
