To honor the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, three co-founders of the New Orleans Kid Camera Project—Tara Malik, Ariya Martin (Aladjem Wolf), and Joanna Rosenthal—present a moving retrospective of photography and video created by young people in the years after the storm.
These images reflect stories of family, rebuilding, resilience, and loss, captured through the eyes of youth who experienced one of the most defining events in New Orleans’ history.
